Team USA diver Krysta Palmer has joined the Funkita F-Team! Since making the switch to diving form trampolining at age 20, Krysta has gone on to achieve some amazing things. Her first international competition was the World Championships held in Budapest, Hungary last year. Krysta qualified for this event after only five years in the sport and even scored a bronze medal in the team event with partner, David Dinsmore.

Since then Krysta has represented Team USA in a number of different countries around the world, including Australia, Germany, Italy, Spain, and China. At the China World Cup she placed 5th in the 3m springboard qualifying for the 2019 World Series and with David, secured bronze in the team event.

Besiders her incredible passion and dedication, Krysta's success since taking the plunge into diving has been aided by he background in gymnastics and trampolining. She was even fortunate enough to compete internationally in trampolining before knee injuries motivated her to try her luck in the pool.

Outside of training Krysta works as a diving coach and has a degree in kinesiology from University of Nevada after graduating in 2016.

Having already achieved so much in her diving career, Krysta has a bright future ahead of her. Up next for Krysta is the World Series which begins March 2019 in Sagamihara, Japan and we can't wait to see how well she does!
